FIKA
Packaging and Identity
This scope included brand identity and packaging for a non-alcoholic spritz made with Sweden’s pure mineral water. Crafted in Stockholm, the founders sought to capture the “magic” of cocktails—the complex flavors and social spirit—without the hangover. Intentionally minimal, the brand has been designed to be of the essence: the ingredients speak for themselves.
Fika, a Swedish term for “coffee and chat,” embodies the idea of breaking from one’s daily routine to connect with others. It’s about a change of pace, a transformation that uplifts spirits and creates deeper bonds. That’s magic.

The Essence of Transformation
The design concept draws inspiration from the founders' journey experimenting with mineral water and flavor fusion. Much like in a laboratory, the design evokes the beauty of water, minerals, and botanicals at a microscopic level, highlighting how molecules transform and bond across different states of matter.

Off-the-shelf strategy:
True to Fika and the idea of switching up the norm for a meaningful connection, the brand name is placed on the back of the can. The goal is to differentiate from brand-forward products, and invite the consumer to grab the spritz off the shelf to connect with the brand.
Magic 8 Ball:
Once the consumers pull the can off the shelf, they can access Fika’s playlist that randomizes songs to transform their moment with Fika.
Stockholm is known for their electronic music, and the playlists mirror the Swedish culture.
